Since its establishment in 2006, the Company has grown into one of Malta’s leading fund administrators, supporting fund managers and promoters with reliable, high quality, and client focused fund administration solutions.
Our Origins and Foundation
This milestone is underpinned by a much longer and distinguished legacy within Malta’s funds industry, with origins dating back to 1995.
That year marked the establishment of Valletta Fund Management, a joint venture between Bank of Valletta plc and Rothschild & Co Asset Management. This initiative introduced professional asset management solutions to the Maltese market and played a pivotal role in laying the foundations for the growth of Malta’s funds industry.
In 1998, Valletta Fund Management expanded its offering to include third party fund administration, quickly becoming a trusted partner for fund managers and promoters establishing fund structures in Malta.
A significant milestone was reached in 2006, when fund administration activities were transferred into a dedicated entity and Valletta Fund Services Ltd was formally established as a wholly owned subsidiary of Bank of Valletta plc. The business continued to grow and evolve, and in 2017 Valletta Fund Services was rebranded as BOV Fund Services Ltd, further strengthening its identity and strategic positioning within the Bank of Valletta Group.
